Hey everyone, December 27, 2025 – Tecno is getting ready to launch the Tecno Pova Curve 2 5G soon. This phone looks like a good option in the budget to mid-range segment. The biggest highlight is the large battery.
The screen is 6.78 inches. It is a curved-edge AMOLED LTPS panel. Resolution is 1.5K. Refresh rate goes up to 144Hz. This should feel smooth for scrolling and gaming. Curved edges give it a premium look.
The processor is the Dimensity 7100. This is a new chip from MediaTek. It should handle daily tasks and medium gaming without problems.
Variants are:
- 8GB RAM + 128GB storage
- 8GB RAM + 256GB storage
- 12GB RAM + 256GB storage
Battery capacity is 8000mAh. That is very big. You can expect two days of normal use or a full day of heavy use. Charging speed is 45W, so it will fill up reasonably fast.
Cameras are basic.
- Front: 13MP for selfies.
- Rear: 50MP main + 2MP secondary (probably depth sensor).
Software is Android 16 with HiOS 16. Tecno usually adds many custom features.
Other features include:
- In-screen fingerprint sensor
- IR blaster (to control TV and AC)
- IP64 rating for dust and splash protection
Tecno phones are known for big batteries and bright screens at low prices. The Pova series is popular for long battery life. This new model continues that.
We don't have the exact launch date or price yet. It should come to India and other markets soon. Price will probably start under ₹20,000 for the base variant.
If you need a phone that lasts long on a single charge and has a nice curved screen, this could be worth waiting for. The camera setup is simple, so don't expect top results there.
